We have been producing organic yeast for over 20 years. Not only does this make us a pioneer in the industry, it also makes us one of the leading providers on the global market.

1983
In partnership with Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences, we developed a unique production method for organic yeast made from natural ingredients.
1995
In 1995, Bioreal® organic yeast was produced on a pilot plant to test the product under market conditions for the first time. Just a short time later, the capacity of the pilot plant was no longer adequate, as demand grew more quickly than expected.
1996
Agrano GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Riegel am Kaiserstuhl (Germany) and a new industrial production plant was constructed, which still to this day ensures availability of Bioreal® organic yeast products on the market.
2009
The company opened a new production plant, with more than 8,500 m² production and storage space
2010
IFS certification (International Featured Standard)

Introduction of new products for industry and trade
Commissioning of the 2nd production line and fluid bed drying system

Market introduction of new organic yeast extracts for soups and sauces

Our yeast products are produced under completely sterile conditions. It goes without saying that we do not add any chemical or synthetic substances — all the ingredients are entirely natural.
